sgc10 .exe?
Hi all,
I would really appreaciate if a PC geek could help me with this question
I re-installed my notebook (Windows XP) some days ago.. you know after some time it needs to be reinstalled. So I did it without having any other special reason.
Today I found a sgc10 (.exe) file on the desktop, and mistakenly I run it. It quickly opened something like a “copying” window for some seconds then nothing happened (something like when installing drivers). After I clicked on the same file again, it did nothing.
Could anyone tell me what this file is?? I have no idea where it came from. All I know is that I downloaded Acrobat Reader on the same day (today) when it appeared. It is about 65kb big and I have found on the Internet a file with the same size here (I used Google to browse for it): http://ftp.uniroma2.it/Adobe/acrobat/win/all/ …
Could anyone please help me? Is it a trojan/virus or just a left-over of a program? Should I reinstall my notebook again???:((
Thanks
Have you recently upgraded to Adobe Read 8? This seems to be related to the installer. Dunno why it doesn’t clean it up though. You can simply delete it.
